80% of funding for

these concerts,

including musicians’

salaries, comes from

three sources:

Membership in the

Symphony Society, our

raffle and donations.

Membership is our largest

and most valuable source

of funding. If you are a

member, you are

continuing your valued

relationship with the

orchestra. You are

helping yourself, and the

community, to a musical

and social event which

we think is special. If you

are not a Symphony

Society Member, please

join into a relationship

with us and with the

music in our 45th

Anniversary year.

The Westchester Symphony Society, Inc., presents The Culver City Symphony Orchestra, and produces the Parness Fund Young Artists Concerto Competition.

Help Us Keep the Music Playing

The Culver City Symphony Orchestra currently presents four concerts a season, with three of the concerts admission free. The fourth is our annual Season Finale, admission is charged, and the Westchester Symphony Society, Inc., which presents the orchestra, hosts a post-concert reception for the audience, the orchestra musicians, the soloists and Maestro Fetta. The drawing for our annual raffle, one of our fundraising activities, is held at the post-concert reception, making it for a memorable and exciting evening.

As Maestro Fetta continues to lead the orchestra, we invite you to become a member. If you are an existing Member, we ask you to renew your Symphony Society membership. If you have already renewed for this season, we are grateful for your support and give our thanks.

Among the Symphony’s diverse funding sources, the greatest and most valuable is Symphony Society membership, which comprises the orchestra’s largest single source of financial support.

Your Membership and support is part of the creation of music, for the music cannot sound without financial backing.

We are all aware that these are difficult and problematic times for arts organizations. As our expenses continue to escalate, we find that our traditional funding sources are becoming evermore scarce. We are appealing to you to help keep the symphony financially afloat by your membership.

When the orchestra performs, as a Member, you are part of the fabric of the musicians and board of directors, both of which are needed to continue these concerts.
