Dear Friend of the Orchestra,

The Culver City Symphony Orchestra’s season would not be possible without the generous support of the members of our parent organization, the SoCal Symphony Society.

Most of our members choose annual memberships, which support our current season, and pay by cash, check or credit card. Depending on your circumstances, we encourage you to consider additional ways to support the Orchestra and invest in its future.

First, we have some ways to help fund the orchestra through your donations but with no cost to you. Please consider registering with the organizations listed below. Registering does not take much time, and these can be part of your financial support for Culver City Symphony Orchestra and for classical music.
Thank you.

Ralphs Community. Once you are registered with SoCal Symphony Society, Ralphs Grocery Stores will make a donation on a percentage of your purchases. You are not charged extra. We do not see your name nor any information about you and your shopping. First, you need to register with Ralphs in their Rewards Program. If already belong, you have completed one-half of the process. If you are not on the Rewards Program, please register to sign-up for their Rewards program and list SoCal Symphony Society as the organization you wish to support: LINK.

Once you have registered with Ralphs Reward Program, or are already registered, then go to their home page, LINK and click on the Community link, scroll down to "Participant" and then click Enroll. Search for SoCal Symphony Society as the organization to support and follow their directions. Then when shop at Ralphs, present your Rewards card each time and the donations will be directed to us.

Second, there are ways to help fund the orchestra through tax-efficient gifts and through legacies. If these are of interest to you, we recommend that you seek the advice of your financial or legal advisor.

If you include the Orchestra in your plans, please use our legal name SoCal Symphony Society and federal tax ID Number 23-7231096

Name The Socal Symphony Society As A Beneficiary Of Retirement Plan Accounts And Life Insurance Policies

Assets in your IRA, 401(k) or other qualified retirement plan accounts are subject to income tax when distributed to your heirs. If you name us as a beneficiary of all or part of your plan, your gift will pass to us tax-free.
You can also name us as a beneficiary of all or part of the proceeds of your life insurance policy.
Gift In Your Will Or Living Trust

It is simple to include a sentence in your will or living trust to leave us a specific amount or specific assets, or a percentage of your estate. If your estate is subject to estate tax, your gift may qualify for an estate tax charitable deduction.
